someone commented on Karaoke with Matt B.
If you enjoy singing, this is NOT the place to go! My girlfreild and I checked it out for 2 weeks. They play alot of music, but in 4 hours, I sang 2 songs, my girlfriend only sang once, and of course, we dropped over 40 dollars between food and drinks. I tried to request other music to be played, but was told the bartender's choise what is played. I'm the one spending money, but my music requests go unanswered. All I asked was for some simple rock music to be played, butwe never heard any.

LV Nightcrawler: Karaoke at Rookies: This is regarding the entire batch of pictures. I'm not sure if MetroMix was paid off by another bar - but this photobook screems..."If you have bad teeth, bad skin, and a double chin...then come on down to Rookie's"...

mugme wrote about Porter's Pub
We've been going to Porters for about 10 years now and always have had great food (it has definitely improved over the years) and awesome beer (SPATEN OCTOBERFEST in the fall, Christmas beers in winter), real people bartenders and servers. The social scene is casual and sometimes exciting (I met my wife there). Music is great although sometimes too loud so we tell the server and they get the band to turn it down! Get on their email list or check the website for the music. We like siting outside and tying one on in good weather. Much better now that Porters is NONSMOKING!! This place is really cozy; love the stone and brick walls, local art, all the mugs and seeing the owners at times hanging out too. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK TO ALL AT PORTERS!!!!
nbethlehem wrote about Legends of Allentown
At first I hated Legends because it's a douchey wanna-be club that plays horrible music so loud you can hardly talk to your friends. Recently, I found a new reason to hate it. My friend was getting married near by so we all popped into Legends between the ceremony and reception. I was sitting at the bar with my girlfriend and I kept smelling rotten dirty mop water and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. It didn't take me long to realize it was seeping out from under a tile that my chair was on. Stinky, grey dirty water. Legends sucks.

My husband and I have had several meals at the River Walck Saloon and have never been disappointed. It's nice to have a friendly place to go have a nice meal and a beer so close to home. Our server, Julia, was very attentive and all around nice. The meals are spectacular and fairly priced. You guys are on the right track...bravo, keep up the good work! See you soon, Madeline and Greg

Stopped in while visiting friends and really enjoyed it. The food was great, (the best wings I've ever had, try the garlic butter and generals) nice menu overall with daily specials, prices are very reasonable too. Great atmosphere and they have a very nice staff, it seems that the owners are always around and mingling with the guests and regulars. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We pulled in the parking lot and were greeted by a flock of chickens and the hee haw of a Sicilian donkey. Were we somewhere in the hills of Tuscany or Bucks County. The vineyards we swollen with clusters of grapes waiting to be picked. Chef Louie Desiato walked out from the garden with a handful of basil and a basketfull of red tomatoes. He told us he was making fresh tomato sauce for the evenings pasta specials. We entered the building and were amazed at the sight of a tavern style bar with 20 some taps of craft beers. On the back wall more spigot handles were for wine. The host explained that all house wines were poured from the taps. We ordered a cheese and bread sampler and tasted some beers and wines. We were very impressed. Wow Italy witout the airfare.

i have been to this establishment on several occasions. i always go there alone and being a single female, it is important to feel comfortable entering a place. i have never felt uncomfortable there. the owner is very perosnable. comes up to greet you. the food is delicious. the entertainment is stellar. it is very spacious. a great place to see a band. i have saw bands such as the foremr str8 jakkett, to the ozone riders all talented musicians and performers. check this place out, not only for the sports watching but for the atmosphere itself! you will not be disappointed!

This is a great place to unwind on a Friday night. Drinks are very reasonable...quality of food is excellent as well as the prices..and live entertainment. The owners, staff and even the customers are so friendly. After a couple of visits here you will feel like you are back in CHEERS. Come and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed. It's located in Kutztown but a mile or so from the New Smithville exit off Route 78.
angierm wrote about Sands Bethlehem Molten Lounge
Molten Lounge has very small 2 seat tables, a small bar, 1 larger table and standing room outside of the main area. Knowing in advance we were going to have a large party we reserved the one and only large table in the place for 9PM. Our party of 10 arrived promptly at 9PM and sat at the table. We listened to very good music and had 2 rounds of drinks up until 11PM. At 11PM a peon in a suit with a Molten name tag (too small to read) came over and told us we had to vacate the table, "a high roller is coming in". The high roller turned out to be a couple of girls. This was grossly unprofessional. We had reserved the table, by this time all of the little 2 seat tables were full. We had friends in the band we wanted to watch and no place to sit and watch. Not only has Molten lost our business but we will be sure to tell everyone we know about their attitude toward customers. P.S. Before we were done vacating the table one of 'the high rollers' bumped the table hard enough to knock over my glass and break it. A real class act.

I recently discovered this place and I think it's great. People are nice, food is good, and the place is clean. Karaoke Nights are especially fun.

Had high hopes for this place! Has turned out to be just another Thug & HO Joint. Just what the area needs!
Northernflyer wrote about PigPen Sports Bar & Grill
Wow! Went there the other night, what an expierence. The worst. I am no food critic but, It tasted like the frozen boxes that it came from. All we got was attitude from the staff, Not good attitude, The kind that says we're better than everyone else. Pay a cover to eat, play games, drink, and listen to glorified garage band. Never again. Most of the bandsI see listed there can be heard elsewhere for free at a place where drinks are about half the price. And if your licky they will have chicken wings for $.40 each or some other special. That being said it might be a good place for the under 25 crowd, That way they leave the good places for people who know what a nice place is like. Remember shiney bright lights and loud noise isn't always a nice place.

If you go on the weekend be prepared to pay a cover charge and wait 20 minutes in line at the bar for each watered down drink.
GaryBusey wrote about Tavern on Liberty
About 200 bottled beers or drafts on tap to choose, great staff, great food, and great regulars.

Not the most class crowd, but a great place to get drunk cheap and pick up a cougar.

someone wrote about Club 40Below
Club 40 Below is very fancy club with a strict dresscode. The music and bar area are on the same floor so your buddies can drink while they can watch their underage friends dance. They have nice couches unlike most clubs i've been too. The dance floor is very nice and awesome lighting.
TheGiantPigmy wrote about Detzi's
All are great here. It's not really a restaurant, not really a sports bar, it's a little of each. You have got to try the wings!!
TheGiantPigmy wrote about Porter's Pub
You want to talk selection? Sit at the bar and let the yeasts, malts and hops speak for themselves. Good friends, great times, good food and great beers from all over.
