Comically aligned

Have you noticed that comedians often write parts for themselves that pair them with women that they might otherwise stand no chance with in real life? Sometimes these films can be good, but more often than not you walk away wondering, "Did he just write the script so he could cozy up next to ____"?
In light of "Run Fatboy Run," which stars co-writer Simon Pegg as a man trying to win back the love of Thandie Newton (?!), here's a look back at some of the more questionable pairings comics have written for themselves.
