And if the door doesn’t catch your eye, the sight of the beanie-copter caps owners Haika Powell and Jed Rapoport wear as they bake will. Amid the scones, cookies and croissants, you’ll find a specialty called the “Just Because” cake. Just because the kids are driving you nuts or just because you had a fight with your boyfriend, these cakes are delightfully decorated to be something elegant to look at before you dig in.
