If you’ve been to Big Woody’s Pizza and Sports Bar in Forks Township, then you’ve been to the Big Woody’s in Allentown. That’s because the Allentown location in the Woody’s and Big Woody’s chain has been modeled after the Forks location — an expanded dining area with seating for 75, a bar area with 100 seats, 33 flat screen TVs throughout, and video games for the kids. Big Woody’s offers great pizza, burgers, and cheesesteaks and the greatest of sports events available on the airwaves.This is part of a popular four-restaurant Valley chain. Be sure to ask about Big Woody, aka Elwood Marcks Sr., a former offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles. At 6-foot-6 and 350 pounds, he still looks like he could block defensive ends.
