Starters Pub — the original, not the sprawling Riverport compound — aims to please all kinds: the menu is heavy on sandwiches and salads but also boasts eight kinds of wing sauce. Although the atmosphere skews wholesome, the restaurant does have all the standard sports-bar requirements: 10 beers on tap, a good-looking staff, tons of TVs and evening mood lighting. The management also has trained its staff to accommodate families and groups stopping in before or after catching a flick at the neighboring Regal movie theater.
