If you have a hankering for food from El Salvador (and who doesn’t from time to time?) then head over to Francisco Salvadoreno Restaurant in Bethlehem. You’ll find it’s similar to Mexican food, but there are a few dishes that are uniquely Salvadoran. Try the pupusas, round corn tortillas filled with cheese, pork or beans and tomato sauce on the side (a bargain at $1.50 each), or fried casaba, a type of vegetable served with fried pork.
