When chef Alex Tadros first opened the Martins Creek Inn in 2003, it was often referred to as “the place where Pulcini’s used to be.” Pulcini’s was a bar that served pizza, meatball sandwiches and cheesesteaks, and though the Martins Creek Inn, about nine miles north of Easton, is a more eclectic and upscale dining spot that features seafood, steaks and pasta, hamburgers and sandwiches are still on the menu. The Inn’s signature dish is Chicken Bostonian, a breast topped with sauteed spinach, tomatoes, mozzarella and a garlic cream sauce over linguine. Flounder stuffed with crab meat served with a white wine lemon garlic sauce and Cowboy Steak, a grilled strip topped with mushrooms and onions, are other favorites. Dessert lovers are partial to the Inn’s midnight chocolate cake and creme brulee cheesecake.
