Nuts about Ice Cream, a family-owned ice cream parlor across from Liberty High School, may look like your average store, but it's not. The shop once sold the same frozen treats served at Hess’s Patio Restaurant but later switched to their own homemade concoctions. Flavors are created with all-natural ingredients, and although they have the requisite chocolate and vanilla, adventurous types would enjoy inventive flavors such as green tea, tamarind, and saffron pistachio.

Atmosphere: Old-school ice cream parlor with a soda fountain counter and barstools, metal sweetheart chairs and tables, and a jukebox. Spacious and clean.

Most popular flavor: Kulfi caramel ice cream, Chocolate raspberry truffle.
