Teppan proves you can find fine Japanese cuisine in a strip mall. From the parking lot, the restaurant appears unimpressive, but inside is one of the trendiest, most spacious, most welcoming places in Allentown. The bar area in the front is worth an after work or weekend trip even if you're not into Japanese food. The service is excellent and the food ranks higher than most local sushi haunts.
