Pies On Pizzeria
601 Front St. - CatasauquaThis 15-year institution near the Pine Street Bridge serves pizza topped with Buffalo chicken and taco; six strombolis, including one with mushrooms and broccoli, and six fries, including eggplant parmesan. Desserts were added at the request of customers; cannoli and tiramisu sell for an affordable $2.50 each. The unusually lengthy, detailed Web site includes a monthly cartoon, pictures of free pumpkin winners and cooking tips. Hint: if you want to freeze a pie, order it unsliced and half-baked.

Nick's Pizza on New St in Bethlehem has the best cheesesteaks in the Valley. Get a California cheesesteak (standard with sauce and mayo). Yes mayo....

Try the Fairview House in Whitehall for one of the best cheese steaks you will find. The bar pizza is also one of the best around.
